Fabrice Grimard, born in Quebec in 2001, is a classically trained painter devoted to the enduring disciplines of painting and drawing. His artistic formation began at the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Montréal, where he studied for two foundational years before continuing at Grand Central Atelier in New York. He recently completed its rigorous four-year program, which emphasizes academic draftsmanship, and the principles of classical realism. During his time at the Grand Central Atelier, Fabrice was awarded a scholarship each year in recognition of his commitment and skill, and he won the coveted Structure Prize four times—a distinction that highlights excellence in figure drawing.
Fabrice’s work reflects a search for beauty rooted in order, meaning, and the human spirit. His paintings are shaped by close observation of nature, a reverence for the old masters, and a philosophical commitment to beauty as truth made visible. Fabrice has participated in several group exhibitions, including PASSAGE: The Future of Contemporary Realism in Willow, Vermont (2024), as well as Face to Face (2024) and From a Distance (2024) at the Salmagundi Club in New York.
