Born and raised in northern Virginia, Sam (b.1998) earned a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from James Madison University before moving to New York City to pursue art at the Grand Central Atelier. He is a part of the first class of full-time sculpture students at GCA, where he continues to study under esteemed instructors Heather Personett and Donat King. His influences include Giambologna and Karl Bitter, and he takes special interest in multifigure composition..
